From South Pointe Park to North Beach Oceanside Park, the scenic Miami Beach Board Walk is now even more accessible thanks to Beachwalk, a seven-mile oceanfront trail. A leisurely seaside stroll along this pedestrian promenade is a paradise for joggers, cyclists, and anyone seeking a leisurely seaside stroll. Miami Beach has transformed the Miami Beach Board Walk from a narrow, wooden boardwalk that once ran along 23rd Street to 45th Street into a wider, ADA-compliant paver pathway.
The last segment of the trail opened in June 2022, connecting 79th and 87th streets and connecting to pathways that continue north along Surfside and Bal Harbour. Beachwalk is also part of the Atlantic Greenway Network, which promotes pedestrian-friendly and non-motorized transportation along the Eastern Seaboard, from Maine to Key West. Throughout the trail, from 1st to 87th streets, you'll find a sandy beach, public restrooms, water fountains, ample parking, and bike rental stands run by CitiBike.
Enjoy an inviting and accessible trail that's always nearby, no matter where you're located in Miami Beach, on your next seaside stroll with the Beachwalk.
